Luke Haag
Cinematogrpaher/CAM OP/Editor
Hey all,
In college, I took a chance and signed myself up for a video production degree at SUNY Fredonia. I knew I wanted something that would get me out of the classroom and into a hands on field. Little did I know, I had found my passion.
I graduated SUNY Fredonia with a degree in Film and Video Production in 2014. It took me a full year to finally pick up a camera and start creating videos in 2015. I took full responsibility for my slow start; I had this idea that I'd be able to walk into film and videography with a paper saying I knew how to do it. No chance. So I started creating, and through that process I've been able to hone in on my own approach and style that I bring to the medium.
In September of 2018, I began working as a Cinematographer for Pegula Sports and Entertainment. Being a Buffalo boy, I was ecstatic to be able to create content for the teams I grew up with, The Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills. For a year, I worked with top tier equipment and the best people in the business, creating videos for top brands. In November of 2019, I returned to freelance videography, but with new ideas and a new drive to continue my craft. In 2022, I officially consolidated as Luke Haag Films, LLC.
I offer a number of video services to our area including web-based promotional videos, commercial, documentary, music videos, event coverage, video editing, aerial videography, and more. I welcome any part of the production process. I am capable of adjusting into multiple roles on set and have the most experience as a DP, cam op, AC, or grip. Please email me for my rates.
Best,
Luke
